New certification PMI ACP 

In the third quarter of 2011, PMI introduced a new Agile certification, the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)SM.

If you are using Agile practices in your projects, or your organization is adopting Agile approaches to project management, PMI’s PMI-ACPSM certification may be right for you.

 

Course Description:

The agenda, coupled with exercises, will consume the full three days. As appropriate, content may be replaced based on class composition. When of interest to most of the class, student questions will be answered by having the class devise solutions within the framework and principles of Agile – just as you will have to do at work!

 

Prerequisites:

Have read at least one of the Agile books.

Understand the basics of Agile software development.

Understand requirements and decomposition.

Have been on or involved in a project that builds or enhances a product.

Want to learn how Agile works, how to use it and how to implement it in an organization.
